Who runs this
Hoopbench is run by ALGD LTD, a company registered in Northern Ireland, number NI744090. ALGD LTD is the data controller for anything described here. Email hello@hoopbench.com.
Your files
When you open a design, your browser reads it from your disk and processes it with code running on your own device. The file, its picture, the numbers on your run sheet and anything you type into the page aren't sent to us or to anyone else. You can check this yourself: open your browser's network panel, open a file, and watch that nothing is sent.
What the hosting records
Like any website, the pages have to be sent to you. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse. ALGD LTD doesn't use this to build profiles of visitors.
Analytics, cookies and ads
There are no analytics scripts, no third-party scripts, and no cookies set by this site. There are no ads at present. If that changes, this page will be updated first, along with any consent you need to give.
What's stored in your browser
Your browser's local storage keeps your hoop, fabric, default format and price settings, so they're still there next time. If you buy the unlock it also keeps that, plus your business name and logo. All of it stays on your device. Clear your site data to remove it.
If you buy the unlock
Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. ALGD LTD receives the details needed to record the sale, such as your name, email address and the amount paid, and never sees your full card number. These records are kept as long as UK tax rules require. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe does.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask what personal data ALGD LTD holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
